IBO

The International Baccalaureate Organization, or commonly known as IB among many students, is a non-profit organization that offers high quality educational programs to ultimately create a “better world”. Widely compared to the Advanced Placement (AP) programs in the US, both the IB and the AP are similar in that they both offer a higher level of education for ambitious students. Many schools from all around the world implement the IB program and so far the IBO claims to have seen tremendous growth in the past five years through successful academic performances of students. Its programs range from students aged from 3 to 19 and is divided into three programs: the Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program (MYP), and the Diploma Program. The IB programs are considered as an international education program since its structure provides students with a deeper insight to culture and fosters a spirit of learning. Currently the IB programs are implemented in 3463 schools in 143 countries and have helped over a million students to achieve academic challenge.
